Winemaker Notes

This Vermouth Naturale from Liquorificio Franco stands out for its balance between natural sweetness and bitter complexity. Made from Moscato wine, it has enough sweetness to minimizes the need for added sugar, letting the grapes define its smooth character.

Wormwood takes center stage, with a strong herbal and bitter note that shapes the profile. The spicy hints of tonka bean and mace blend with bitter orange peel, creating a fresh, citrusy contrast. Aloe and centaury add a deeper bitter layer, while peppermint brings a touch of freshness.

On the palate, the vermouth is bold and layered. Angelica root, rhubarb, and cinchona bark contribute structure and complexity. Elderflower and vanilla soften the bitterness with sweetness, providing balance.

The finish is dry, long, and harmonious, with a herbal and bitter note that invites another sip. Perfect enjoyed neat or as a base for cocktails that demand character and authenticity.
