Winemaker Notes
The territory through which the hectares of property wind is characterized by a rocky subsoil, rich in trace elements, sunny, on which a constant breeze blows, which envelops the typical Mediterranean scrub that surrounds the vineyards, located about 300 meters above sea level and exposed on two plots: one to the south overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio and the Island of Elba and the other to the north overlooking the Tuscan hinterland.
Rosso 2024 is crafted from organically farmed vineyards situated near the Tyrrhenian Sea, benefiting from a unique microclimate that imparts freshness and complexity to the wine. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Aging occurs in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop depth while preserving its vibrant fruit character. Expect aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and Mediterranean herbs, with a well-structured palate and fine-grained tannins. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).
