Winemaker Notes

Dolcetto 2023 showcases the vibrant character of the Dolcetto grape. The vineyards are located in the Dogliani area, known for producing some of the finest Dolcetto wines. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve their fresh fruit aromas. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for several months before bottling, ensuring a pure expression of the grape. On the palate, it offers flavors of black cherries, plums, and a hint of almond, with soft tannins and a pleasant finish. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).

Luca Marenco is a passionate winemaker dedicated to producing authentic expressions of Piedmont's indigenous grape varieties. His estate is situated in Dogliani, a region celebrated for its exceptional Dolcetto wines. Luca employs sustainable farming practices, emphasizing the health of the vineyard ecosystem and the quality of the fruit.  The 2023 Dolcetto reflects Luca's commitment to minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the natural characteristics of the grape and terroir to shine through.
