Winemaker Notes

"Concrete" is obtained from native red grapes, mainly Montepulciano, manually selected from vines located at 300 meters above sea level in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo. In the vineyard no chemical or synthetic substances are used and the cycles of nature are respected by following the dictates of biodynamics. In the cellar they continue with the same belief, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in concrete tanks.

The Story

Concrete is a juicy and frank red, which represents a perfect ally for the daily table. Interpreting grapes and territory without tricks of any kind has always been a clear intention for Stefano and Eloisa, partners in life as well as in the vineyard since 2010. Originally grape suppliers for local wineries today they're a young couple of winemakers: not an obvious and simple step as it may seem. The terroir is magical since in Loreto Aprutino Trebbiano and Montepulciano vines give extraordinary results. Vineyards nestled between the sea and the mountains cultivated following the dictates of biodynamics and finalized by equally respectful work in the cellar. Sips of territory, energetic and vibrant, where the ambition is to tell and not to distort.
