Etna, Langhe e Burgundy
The two sides of Etna compared with Langhe and Burgundy. A great evening hosted with the winemakers to discover the different slopes of Etna, and a unique tasting held with a friend Emanuele Fioretti to demonstrate the longevity of Etna wines.
And then the comparison between the two sides of Etna with the wines of the Langhe and Burgundy. We tasted the labels of the east slope:Barone di Villagrande and Murgo (the first company to make sparkling wine in Etna), but also those on the south-east slope,Benanti Winery and Ciro Biondi.
Then we uncorked a bottle of the historic northern, Rovittello of Benanti, and tasted the most represented wineries of the south side: Masseria Setteporte and Feudo Cavaliere.
