Christof Tiefenbrunner tells us the history and features of two native vines of Alto Adige: Schiva and Lagrein. Like other Italian vines, in the past, especially Schiava, was a vine cultivated for its very high yields, unfortunately at the expense of quality. Today, however, especially if planted in the hills, it expresses itself with surprising results, giving very long-lived wine. Lagrein, on the other hand, needs more attention to be able to express itself at its best.
