Carbonia is a place out of time and full of strong contrasts: ancient disused coal mines, centuries-old ungrafted vineyards, arid hinterland, coasts with breathtaking views of a sparkling sea. Enrico Esu is the keeper of the memory of these places: his family has known the difficulties of life in the mine and has chosen to transform a hobby into their reason for living: viticulture.
